Did you know Carl was arrested???

Once he got there,
Carl asked the jailor if he could have some paper and a pen
so he could write his mother a letter.

The jailor gave Carl the paper and pen.
(a very foolish move on his part :)

When he was done,
Carl called the jailor back over
and handed him two sheets of paper....
